Awareness always wins
‍Professional choices can only be intentional if they come from a place of awareness. This starts with being self-aware and understanding what makes us want to do more, instead of less. Everyone is looking for something different at various stages of life and we believe in empowering every individual instead of praising careers. Awareness also means knowing the countless opportunities at our disposal, which is the only way to make conscientious choices and design careers that fit us.

Give first
‍Giving first means helping other people without expecting any immediate return. It is different from giving back because everyone can make a difference, no matter the age or experience. It is not pure altruism because you will get something back from the same community but you don't know exactly when or under which circumstances. It also means being kind by creating value for the community, fostering genuine connections and doing work that matters.

Peer-driven community
There are no all-knowing teachers nor experts, we are all students and we are learning how to navigate life, one way or another. We seek answers by asking better questions and we believe that "When the student is ready, the teacher appears". Everyone at Kickigai is at the same time a mentor and a mentee and everybody is encouraged to work on changing things for the better.

Openness
The people who have the highest impact on our lives are the ones we respectfully disagree with. The only way to get to know them is to be open to meeting strangers and listening to their beliefs, without judgment. Openness comes from a place of radical curiosity, where we are eager to discover new truths and see the current ones in a new light.
